Germany is Investor No. 1 in Shanghai

The German-Chinese Trade booms. The homeland of VolksWagen is investor No. 1 in Shanghai.
Germany is China's most important trade-partner in Europe, and in Shanghai the Germans are since the Chancellor-travel in November of last year even investor No. 1. Schröder's visit has shown, how much the German industry is willing, to have part in the dynamic development of China. The People's Republic is for the Germans one of the last future-markets, which it is necessary to conquer. There are perhaps hardly one country, which the committee-presidents of the German big-industry so often as China.

Example Transrapid
Especially when it comes to a prestige-project as the Transrapid, the first league on the field, must the federal-economy-minister Müller signify: "I have heard, that the both Misters of Pierer and Schulz, who just share the project to 50%, also again have set themselves into the rolls of a project-managers, which is the case for these committee-presidents no more so often of course usually."

The construction of the Transrapid in Shanghai however also shows, how important in China still always the political support is, when there is, emphasis to vest the interests of German investors. Almost every month a German politician is in Shanghai, to convince himself of the construction-processes.

It follows the bourgeoisie
Yet it is no more only the big-businesses ago, who try a leap in China. The trade-chamber in Shanghai records since the last year a noticing strongly growing influx of bourgeoisie. They will not only look in the rule, instead found their own business. The German trade-chamber were so calming, that it had much better prepared for the market, than its predecessor, which not rarely made belly-landing at the first attempts.

In the industry-park Taicang, 50 km northwest from Shanghai, man meets number-rich bourgeoisie, who have set up their own business from the beginning. In the last five, six years many German businesses have themselves settled here.

Germans have invested 100 million euros in Taicang in the mean time. And for that they are courted. Also small and middle businesses are welcomed in industry-park Taicang, as it deals with a multinational from shock Coca Cola. Especially the low costs of rent and personnel in the industry-zone entice the bourgeoisie.

Tabu --- was man nicht dürfen darf,
Tabu, tabu, tabu

Man duzt keine Opas, man fälscht keine Schecks.

Tabu, was man nicht dürfen darf,
Tabu, tabu, tabu

A German Song --- Taboo

One does not drill in the nose, one does not smoke in the bed,
to the thickness one does not say "Man, you are fat!"
One does not eat with fingers, one does not go when it is red.
one wishes for a directress, not the death.

one does not speak about sex, never say "it was insipid",
one does not swim naked and mere in hall-baths,
one should neither travel without a ticket nor see in pessimism,
although I permit you the time, I do not permit to steal the clock.

Taboo --- what one could not can,
also if one would will, one is yet so sharp.
Taboo, taboo, taboo

One uses du to no grandfathers, one counterfeit no checks.
One makes no blot on mother's table-cloth,
one does not lie at the confession, never talks with full mouth,
one could not counter-speak, certainly not at the alliance at all.

One never asks a woman how old she is,
one does not eavesdrops at the wall, also when it is thrilling,
one never says "nigger" to a black man,
a lady feels attracted to no younger men.

Taboo, what one could not can,
also if one would will, one is yet so sharp.
Taboo, taboo, taboo

Gentechnisch erzeugte Lebensmittel

Gene-Technical produced Life-means (food)

The gene-technique belongs to the most modern and most controversial technologies. Medicine, pharmacy and the life-means-economy, among others, belong to the areas, in which it is employed already or should be employed. For the last called filed, it should go in the following.

Since the human holds animal and cultivates plants, he attempts, through breeding to change the properties of his use-plants and use-animals. Thus it has succeeded e.g. to breed more pigs with two pair ribs, so that they provide more flesh. And almost nobody, who purchase various sorts of cabbage today, knows, that they all originally descend from one plants, which man has changed through breeding.

The gene-technique can be regarded as a special, farther developed form of breeding, in which not the entire inherit-good of two life-beings is mixed, but only single inherit-information, so called
genes, are transmitted. It means, that very targeted determined properties can be changed.

The supporters of gene-technique pointed out, that this new technology can bring with itself a series of benefits: so could man e.g. as use-plants, which through gene-technical changes are resistant
against harmful fungi and viruses, save plant-protection-means (pesticide) and in this manner relieve the environment. Also the harvests could be improved.

Furthermore, the together-put (composition) of the feeding-stuffs (nutrients) in the plants could be changed and therewith the worth of the life-means be raised. A example is the gene-technical production of rice-sorts, which form vitamin A and save in the corns. In the end through gene-technique it becomes possible, to reduce natural poison-stuffs in plants, e.g. in potatoes.

There-opposite the adversaries of the gene-technique emphasize the threats for environment and health. Health-risks could arise, if yet farther outside the wished changes in the life-means, non intended gene-technical changes occur, e.g. if new, poisonous content-stuffs were formed. And up-to-all no one knows, what happens, if gene-technical changed organisms, whether it are be bacteria, plants or animals, in the environment reproduce and behaves other than as expected. The foreign
gene could endanger the whole ecosystem and even the climate.

Atomschiffe, Atomflugzeuge, Atomlokomotive

Atom-ships, Atom-airplane, Atom-lokomotive

Atom-reactors have already been  applied in under-sea-boats (submarines). These first under-sea-boats, that are drived by atom-power, gain a small piece of nuclear-burning-stuff a
energy-amount, that corresponds to that of thousands of tons of coal. The boats can stay under water for unlimited time, because their machines need no air. They can e.g. travel around the whole world, and without go up even one time. So they also need no harbour to dock in their journey, to receive new burning-stuff.

The experiences prove, that the atom-drive for ships is practically possible. It is expected, that the passenger- and merchant-ship-journey will make extensive use of the opening possibilities. The high weight of them atom-reactor, that arise by the thick and heavy protection-walls, which is indispensable, to screen crew and passengers against the radioactive rays, is therethrough compensated, that the significant drive-stuff-reserve are dropped, which today must be on longer journeys entrained.

It equally holds also for atom-airplanes. The load of the machine by a reactor weighing about 60 or 70 tons would be absolutely bearable by the cancellation of the substantial weight of previous drive-stuff-amount. The atom-drive comes above all for large-airplanes, for example, for the on transatlantic-flights employed machines in question. According to American designs as burning-stuff plutonium should be applied. The steam, which is generated by the reactor, drives for turbines of 56,000 HP (HorsePower) in-total, which function on the propellers. The plutonium, which weights only a few kilogrammes itself, should suffice for 5 million flight-kilometres. It is worked already on projects for airplane-atom-reactors, of which man expects much for non-stop-long-stick-flights with super-sonic-speed.

Likewise in the USA have already been draw up projects of construction of an atom-locomotive, which develops a power of 7000 HP and should be about 52 metres long. They would consume only 5 ½ kilogrammes uranium-burning-stuff in a year.

Was tut der Stein nun in Wirklichkeit?

Albert Einstein's explanation of the relativity

All motions in the physical field can only be understood, when it is positioned in a determined fixed reference-system. Einstein explains it by an example: There is one stands at the window of a with constant speed moving railroad-vehicle. He let a stone drop on the rail-embankment, without giving it a momentum. Then he sees the stone fall rectilinearly. A pedestrian, who sees it from walk-way with-regard, notices, that the stone falls down to earth in a parabola-curve. What does the stone do now in fact? The points, which the stone run-through, lie in a parabola or in a straight line?

Two observer have seen two different geometric figures on-the-occasion of the same process. Einstein makes us now clear, that the same process must appears differently. The stone describes a straight line in reference to the railroad-vehicle. In relation to earth-ground it describes a parabola. Einstein follows thereout, that there is not the curve in itself, but only a curve in reference to a determined reference-system. The curve stands in relation to reference-point, it is relative. There is no absolute reference-system. Let us follow the train! We then have the feeling, that it further-moves
rectilinearly in horizon in reference to a determined fixed point. But we can also run out therefrom, that it is not fixed. For in-the-mean-time the earth has revolved further around itself, it has revolved further around the sun, the sun has rushed further in a determined orbit through the universe, so that each alleged fixed point in the horizon has disappeared long ago in a indescribable Chaos of
reference-systems (earth, sun, Milky-Way, universe). Space and time are relatived. Constant is only the light-speed. And so it becomes the centre of the science of Einstein.

The Transrapid

The transrapid was developed in Germany and belongs to the magnet-floating-trains. Magnet-floating-trains are wheeless trains, which are leaded-along floating on or above the travel-rails of irons with-helps of magnetic-fields. They reach travel-speed up to 500 km/h.

For the conventional iron-track rail and wheels fulfill three jobs: They take the weight of the train, care for lateral guidance and transfer the forces of drive and brake. The same jobs at the transrapid are taken over by magnetic forces, which work contactless. In the drive-device strong electromagnets have been installed, which lift up the transrapid and guide laterally. By a electronic regulation-system the strength of the magnetic forces is so adjusted, that the spacing between the drive-device and the drive-way always remains the same. Thus the transrapid can over-wind smaller hindrances as-well-as a thin snow or ice-cover with no problem.

The travel-speed of the transrapid lies between 300 and 500 km/h and therewith is clearly higher than that of high-speed-trains such as ICE (Inter-City-Express). By the good acceleration-capability of the transrapid high speeds can also be reached in short track-sections. While for the quickly driving iron-trains the rails and wheels have been exposed to large loads and quickly wear out, the transrapid is free of attrition. By the magnetic floating arises itself a higher travel-comfort for the passengers. Push and rolling-noises, which are unavoidable in wheel-drive-devices, omit fully in transrapid. Noises arises exclusively as wind-noises for high driving-speeds. Thereover the transrapid is a traffic-system with higher security. As the drive-device encompass the drive-way, a derailment has been excluded.

Although the transrapid presents significant technical advantages towards the conventional iron-rail, its future-prospects are doubtful because of the high costs for the necessary infrastructure.

Deutschland heute

Germany today

Who today to Germany, come in the Federal-Republic Germany, whether for the first time as a stranger or out of a long time familiar habit, no matter what --- he feels immediately: It is a very vibrant country. It thinks and struggles in present.

Germany lies in the heart of Europe. It is surrounded by nine neighbour-states. Integrated into the European Union and the NATO, Germany builds an bridge to the middle- and easten-European states.

Germany has around 82.1 million inhabitant, among them 7.3 million foreigners. The Federal-Republic is behind Russia the most populated state of Europe and belongs with a population-density of 230 people per square-kilometre to the densest populated countries of Europe.

Germany consists of 16 countries: Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia.

The German landscape are extraordinarily manifold and zestful. Climatically Germany lies in the realm of the moderately-cool west-wind-zone between the Atlantic ocean and the continental-climate in the East. Large temperature-fluctuations are rare.

Germany takes itself as it is and his neighbours as they are. It was not always so, and it is a good thing.

In the second world-war this country was dropped into such an immoderate future, that from it became an abhorrent past. However it is also true, that it has occupied itself exactly and conscientiously to this past, and that has rendered it step by step an today, in which it can live and others can live with him. As the second world-war was to end, the whole Germany lay in fragments. But the German people began directly after it, to reconstruct its country. The economy has developed very quick. This rapid development was called as economy-wonder in the whole world. Once two
German state stood on the German soil. On October 3rd 1990 the German unity was realized.

Who comes to Germany today, sees a quite other picture. He sees himself it in the large towns of the countries, which were not there at all 50 years ago, as they stand here today. Sometimes however they are --- as the very-old Nuremberg --- so like-a-sparkling-nail-new, so lovingly accurately and so precisely correctly reestablished from a heap-of-ruins, that man would like to think, past and present were one and the-same.

Man must and should drive in Germany up and down and back and forth a little and will recognize another side of the presence. Man notices, that everywhere in Germany today so much earned respect and observance.

German begins everywhere, wherever man comes to, new and differently and surprisingly; it possesses so many focus-points and centres, as it possesses landscapes, that bear all its especial present in the face and emanate from anywhere to anywhere, with which it wears to give economic and cultural, political and social, but above all spiritual, artistic and scientific energy.

Relationships between the People's Republic of China and the Federal Republic of German

On October 11th 1992 the People's Republic of China and the Federal Republic of German diplomatic relationships take up, since then the tempo of development, the extent and the intensity of the relationships of friendly together-work between China and German are in all areas examples.

Between both countries there is a lively high-ranking exchange-of-visits. Mechanisms to coordination and cooperation on different plains between the ministries of both countries were constructed. In particular the mutual visits between the state-upper-heads and government-chefs of both countries have contributed to deepening of the mutual understanding and the promotion of the together-work between both countries.

The together-work in economy and trade extends itself incessantly. Germany is the biggest trade-partner of China in Europe. The trade-volume between China and Germany amounted in year 2001 23.52 billion US-dollars. Germany is also the country in Europe, from which China imports the most technologies. Till the end of 2001 Germany maintains in China 2701 projects with capital-participation in worth of circa. 7 billion US-dollars, with the heavy-point in areas like traffic, telecommunication, energy-economy and infrastructure. The financial and technological together-work between the Chinese and German governments goes very successful. German implements in China 160 projects in the frame of development-helps. In addition to the intensification of the together-work in traditional trade both countries are at the same time to exploit new forms and areas of the together-work.

The together-work and exchange are incessantly extended also in the areas of science and technique, education, culture, environment-protection etc. It has evolved a manifold network of exchange-relationship on different planes, over different channels, in many areas and with different forms. In year 1997 both countries have called the dialog-forum for high-technology in the life. Of both sides 120 High-Schools and universities have ever reached partnerships. The both-sides together-work has developed note-worthily well. The unofficial exchange is polymorphic and rich-contents. Between Chinese provinces i.e. states and German federal-lands i.e. states 40 partnerships have been evolved. The direct cultural exchange develops lively.

In many important international questions China and German advocate same or similar opinions. Both sides care for a consultation and good together-work in important global questions such as the non-proliferation of Atomic-Biologic-Chemical-weapons, disarmament, drug-fighting, environment-protection etc. China supports the European unification and the integration-process of the European Union and see it with pleasure, that German plays a more bigger roll in international affairs. The Chinese government and the Chines people have shown for the German reunification always sympathy and understanding and supported it. The German government holds firmly on the "One-China-Policy". German supports China for the continuation of the reform and open as well as his joining to the world-trade-organization. For China Germany is more important partner of together-work in Europe, for German China stands at central position of his Asian-blueprint.

China and German lie far away from-one-another, there exist difference in terms of the respect society-systems, histories, culture, ideologies, worth-idea and the stand of economic development. Also the opinions and tackle-manners of both sides in many questions are therefore not quite the same. In a manifold world these differences (不同) and differences (差别) are however quite normal. They are necessary ground-position for the exchange with-one-another and establish conditions for the learning from-one-another.

China and Germany are strongly interested in constructing long-term implemented and stable relationship of friendshiply together-work, in the conviction, that it not only lies in the interest of both countries and people, but also serves the peace, the stability and the development in the world.

Wir waren zwei Wochen in New York.

I: Wie bitte?

Wissen Sie was?

I: Vietnam?

I: Das war sicher enorm schwer. Sprechen Sie denn Vietnamesisch?

I: Gibt es irgendeine besondere Erinnerung?

I: Wie?

I: Und dann? Was haben Sie da gemacht?

I: Und dann?

I: Nach Chile?

I: Und dann?

I: Ja.

I: Und was machen Sie beruflich?

R: Genug?

A Wheelchair-Traveler talks about his Trip
---Interview with Mr. Renner

Interviewer: Mr. Renner, first of all hearty thank, for that you are ready for this interview. It pleases me very much, that I can speak with you about your trips.

Mr. Renner: Yes, all right, I also find it nice and it pleases me, that I can tell something.

I: Mr. Renner, we have known each other in year 1994 in a trip to South-America. Was it actually your first trip?

R: No, I was already en route before-that.

I: Where were you then already somewhere, if I could ask?

R: Yes, I must talk a lot for that. All right, for the first time I have made a far trip in 1988, with my friend. We were two weeks in New York. And in the next year I have a group-trip to Singapore, Indonesia and Bali particularly, and then ...

I: Hold, hold, that goes much too quick for me, I just can not keep all at all. Please you speak, how do you make it? I mean, to trip with the wheelchair, is not it very hard?

R: Well, you are quite right, it is not quite simple. Man must be indeed well trained, physically topfit, and I drive really frequent sport. I mean, man must also be open to the new things, must accept the strange, then it goes well. You just see, nothing happened on me. But for me it is also a difference, whether I for example take part in a group-trip to China or fly to Istanbul alone.

I: Pardon? Would not you tell me yet, that you were also in China and in Turkey?

R: Yes, I do, in 1990 I have taken part in a group-trip to China and was nine days in Peking and in 1991 I was two weeks in Istanbul alone.

I: Now lack yet only Africa and Australia, then have all continents together!

R: Yes, that is right, I have also thought about that. And so I have been in 1992 in Sydney and surroundings, also in Hon Kong and Macau, and in 1993 in South-Africa, in Cape-town.

I: All right Mr. Renner, I can just difficultly believe it! You know what? You should have a homepage in Internet! Then you can give other wheelchair-travelers informations about trip-possibilities.

R: That is not a bad idea, but you know, there is already also magazines for wheelchair-travelers, and there are already many trip-informations.

I: All right ... after Cape-town came the trip to South-America, where we have known each other.

R: No, not yet. Before-that I was yet in Vietnam, that was in February 1994.

I: Vietnam? Why then that? Do you have an invitation?

R: It is a long story. But speak in short, first-time I was alone there and at the second time I have visited a friend.

I: It was certainly enormously difficult. then do you speak Vietnamese?

R: No, but some English and with it I can have myself understood. But you are right, it was not simple, the climate, the streets ...

I: And the Photo, that I here see, where is it?

R: That is in the Antarctica on an island south from Argentina, 1998.

I: And How have you come there?

R: I have visited my friend in Argentina, in Buenos Aires and from there I have flown to Ushuaia on Tierra del Fuego and then with a ship, the Bremen, in the Antarctica.

I: Mr. Renner, what was especially difficult for you in these trips? How for example the company-travelers respond to you? Do they help you?

R: All right, the people, the travelers and the persons in the other countries --- it was always very positive, yes, for that I have experienced nothing negative, who have always helped me, no matter where I was. Naturally there are differences, which is always so. No, the people are to my trips no problem. But there are other things. Not all hotels, streets, railway-stations and buses for example are
prepared-beforehand for wheelchair-travelers. And that makes it difficult. When there is no for example elevator, when the toilets are narrow and small, that I can not move myself with the wheelchair or simply in the streets, when I would across the streets and there is no places for wheelchair-travelers ... it is there small things in everyday, that make the trips often difficult.

I: Is there some especial memory? I mean, do you remember something quite special?

R: I have many beautiful memories, I have also always made photos, that help me at the memory, but something I will never forget. As I was in Argentina, in Buenos Aires would out the airplane, then my wheelchair was no more there!

I: How? You had no more wheelchair? How does it happened then?

R: I do not know, too. At the take-off the steward had brought me to my place, and then positioned the wheelchair somewhere to the luggage. And in Buenos Aires, it was no more there.

I: And then? What have you done?

R: Yes, that was not simple. Man has given me an other wheelchair, but it was not convenient, it was too big and so on. My friend has picked me up at the airport and we then have gone to his house.

I: And then?

R: Yes, then he has telephoned the airline-company and we have waited, what happens. the airline-company would search my wheelchair.

I: And have they found it?

R: Yes, it was on the way to Chile.

I: To Chile?

R: Yes, in the plane to Santiago de Chile. It was the same airplane, with which I was arriving. Probably the mistake happens at the take-off already ... man has done the wheelchair in the wrong container.

I: And then?

R: Well, at the same day it has come back from Chile to Buenos Aires and the airline-company has brought it to us at home. You can imagine yourself, how happy I was.

I: Yes, I can imagine it myself really very well. Mr. Renner, still two questions to conclusion, but naturally you do not need to answer. How old are you?

R: Fifty-eight. And the second question certainly is, how long I already travel in wheelchair.

I: Yes. From-where you know, that I would ask these?

R: Well, I wait very long for these questions, that people always would like to know. All right, I was a mountaineer and had a accident in the mountains at twenty-two. And since that time I travel in wheelchair.

I: And what do you make professionally? You do work, is not it?

R: Yes naturally, I worked in half-days in the Technique University, in the administration of library.

I: And do you have other farther trip-plans? Or have you seen enough now?

R: Enough? No, I would make yet many trips, the world is big and I would see still much myself. But in every case I would visit my godchild in Honduras the next time. I know it only through photos and letters and I think, that it is the highest time, that we know each other personally.

A: Was zahlst du denn?

I: 600 Euro kalt, also nur die reine Miete.

I: Zum Glück wollte er nichts.

A: Da hast du aber Glück gehabt, so etwas findet man selten.

A: Das klingt ja alles prima.

I: Gemischtes Publikum sozusagen.

A Conversation about the new Apartment

Anne: You have it here beautiful, Inge, the apartment pleases me.

Inge: Yes, it is very nice, a little small, but I can not afford more.

A: How much you paid then?

I: 600 euros, as the plain rent only. Electricity and water go extra. And it is much money for the room including kitchen.

A: You are right, it is much money, but still, it pleases me here and the region is also nice, many small shops, a cinema, a pub --- yes you have it all at the front door.

I: Yes, the streets here is supreme, the whole district originates from the (last) turning-of-the-century and is convenient as remained as that time. Earlier officers and people with money lived here. Now live here very different people, workers, students, small employees, a few foreigners. But it makes here so interesting.

A: Yes, I have seen, below is a grocery store, which seems from South-Europe.

I: Yes, it belongs to a Greek, there you always get fresh fruits and vegetables and eggs from eco-farmers. At the end of the street is an Italian restaurant, the baker is two houses farther, next is a
women-saloon, in the parallel-street is an small supermarket and a bookshop, which has alternative books. I often go there, there are always supreme types, choices, eco-people and so on. Yes, and it is also only five minutes to subway. (slightly shortened)

A: And how did get this apartment? I can think myself, that there are quite a lot of people, who want to have it.

I: Naturally many people would like to have such a apartment. But this apartment was not in the newspaper. I have gotten it through an acquaintance. He has moved with his girl-friend together and he knew, that I search such an apartment.

A: And must you give him money for this information? I mean, an apartment-agency costs money, a broker or a immobile-business also take money!

I: Fortunately he will nothings. I have just renovated everything here and paid him for the relocation.

A: Then you have had fortunate, one seldom finds something like this.

I: You are right and I am also very glad about that.

A: All that sound yes supreme. And is there anything negative, no night-part?

I: Well yes, on weekends, as on Saturday-night it is sometimes loud, there are a few drunken people, a few youth, who stand in the corner and make dumb marks, but normally it is real all OK.

A: Well, it is so everywhere, if one live in the inner-city. And here in this house, who live in here?

I: Mixed crowd so to speak. Over me a young married couple and completely over live an alone standing man. Opposite is an apartment-sharing community with students and under the Greek with his family. And then there are still two men, I do not know them, I believe, they are not German, I do not know. When they speak with-each-other, I do not know, in which language, perhaps Polish or Czech, I know it not out.

H: Hmm.

J: Herr Hansen, warum sind Sie Punker?

H: Also, Ich bin Joe, kannst ruhig „du" zu mir sagen. Und das mit Punker, ist doch klar.

J: Das sehe ich. Gehst du denn arbeiten?

H: Arbeiten?

J: Richtig zusammen? Wie verheiratet?

H: Ja sicher! Was fragst du?

H: Nee, wieso Krise? Was meinst du?

A Conversation with a Punk

Journalist: Mr. Hansen, good, that I see you and that you have time for the conversation.

Hansen: Hmm.

J: You looks interesting, it pleases me, the colorful, wild T-shirt, the torn trousers ... and your hair, I find the colorful style good, real super! But you are no more quite young, about thirty-five, forty, I
think. And you look always like a punk, hold punk-clothing, a punk-hairstyle ...

H: Hmm.

J: Mr. Hansen, why are you a punk?

H: Well, I am nobody, can you talk to me just using "du". And it is rather clear with punks.

J: I see. Then do you go to work?

H: Work? No, it is boring and also I can not make enough money. Earlier I always wanted to have elegant clothings, sweaters from Kashmir, modern neckties, leather-shoes, an expensive car and soon. Now I need them no longer. My trousers have holes, my T-shirt is broken, but that is OK for a punk.

J: Isn't it difficult? ... to be a punk? ... No career, no money? And the people laugh ...

H: Noo, it goes in order , is not so bad, I have Wally.

J: Wally? Is she your girl-friend?

H: Yes, and she is also a punk.

J: Then how did you know her? Here in the streets?

H: No, in the highway, nearly fifteen years ago. I know still exactly, how it was. She made hitchhiking. She would as hitchhiker to Frankfurt and there I have picked her up. She has appeared quite crazy, her arm had a tattoo and she wore a broken trousers and a blouse of paper.

J: Of paper?

H: Yes, a blouse of paper. And she had a crazy hairstyle, she had green hair. It pleases me. And she had a needle in her ear, a safe-needle. She has given it to me as a present.

J: She has given it to you as a present? And then?

H: Then? Then we have searched an apartment and since then we live together.

J: Rightly together? As to marry?

H: Yes sure! What do you ask? Why not? Don't you have wife?

J: Very well, I mean yes only ... and what do you live on?

H: On Wally, ... she has enough money from her old ...

J: And you have never problems, no criss?

H: No, why crisis? What do you mean?

J: Now yes, when people always live together, it can happen.

H: For us not, all is in butter. Only one time, that Wally would leave me. I had lost her namely needle, but fortunately I have found it
again, and then all was again OK.

Escape in alcohol and drugs

Fear, dissatisfaction and hopelessness make the jobless youth susceptible, to flee in alcohol and drug-intoxication, to forget his unbearable situation.

Whether alone and secretly or with friends, the booze worsens the position of the jobless: he becomes yet more unconcerned, more depressive, more apathetic and loses control. His chances in the
job-market sink to null.

Another form of escape: drugs. Under its influence the young becomes insensitive to the reality. Once the body gets used to the poison, the dose must be raise incessantly, to arouse the shortly imaginary happy-state. Every new injection brings the addicted a quite step farther to the way to grave.

A jobless youth dependent on intoxication-poison, has destroyed himself in time by himself. He commit suicide in steps.

Christiane F. tells:

Nearly every night I went into the club of the evangelic youth-home "House of the center" and smoked there hashish. The one, who had money in the clique, delivered the others what. I found it nothing serious to smoke hashish.

I not only smoked, I also drink wine and beer, if I had no dope. It already started, if I came out of the school, or also already at midday, if I truanted from school. I must always somehow turn myself on. I was incessantly in total confusion. I would also, not be confronted with the whole dirt in the school and at home. The school to me was in any way unimportant. I sagged quite quickly from two to four until five in average.(此句大有疑问,唯一合理解释是,沾染毒品后不久,平均睡觉时间从凌晨两点变到凌晨四点再到五点。)

I also changed totally outside. I became insanely meager, because I hardly eat what yet. All trousers were much too far for me. My cheek collapsed completely. I stood often before the mirror. It pleased me, how I changed. I saw more and more the like as others from the clique. My innocent child-look was at last away.
